Before the formation of Toto the group, members worked as session work for other musicians. Shem Von Schröck replaced Leland Sklar as drummer during the tour in support of the 40 Trips Around the Sun album. In 2017, Toto released the double-CD set Falling in Between. It included recordings from the tour and also an interview with the group.
