The iRobot Roomba 980 Robot Vacuum Cleaner

The iRobot Roomba 980 is the latest in the line of top-of-the-line onson robot vacuum vacuum cleaners that are a staple of any modern household. This model comes with a HEPA-filter to assist those who suffer from allergies. It also has an extremely powerful battery that can be cleaned for up to two hours before returning to its dock automatically once the bin is full.

Smart mapping is a different feature that helps it identify areas in your home that require attention, and then creates a path for cleaning around them. This technology is extremely effective in navigating around toys that are left on the floor, or furniture legs sticking out from underneath things. It also has a sensor that snaps Roomba back to reality when it starts to drift away from its original position.

iRobot also added the option of rolling rollers under the Roomba that don't have bristles and therefore are more likely to withstand knots than earlier models. They're also taller than previous rollers and can better fit under beds and couches that are low, and they're designed to help this model navigate more easily across different floor kinds.

What sets the Roomba 980 apart from other models of this class, though, is its integration of the new dirt detection feature, which uses cameras to detect particles of dirt embedded. This is a significant improvement over the previous version, which relied on a sensor-driven pseudorandom coverage method to bounce around a room and clean at least three times from different angles.

In our tests of its performance it was found that the Roomba 980 did well on both hard flooring and carpets. It scored highly on carpets with a low pile, and on mid-pile. It did a great job picking up pet hair but had a difficult time with the thick and long pet hair that was stuck together.

Despite these small shortcomings, the Roomba 980 remains one of our most efficient robots, and it's not even nearly as expensive as some of the other top-of-the-line models in this list. It has a lot of features you would expect from a top model, but it doesn't have all the fancy apps and smart robot vacuum home integration that you'll see in other top models.

The iRobot Roomba can be set up in a matter of minutes and is available for use immediately. After taking the yellow bin insert and the battery pull tab from the undercarriage, you simply plug it into an outlet on the wall or to its Home Base docking stations, hit the "Clean button" and Smart robot Vacuum let it job. It will automatically return to its dock when it runs out of battery or becomes full of sand. There are also indicators on top that show the bin is empty, or when it is in need of recharging or smart robot Vacuum when it loses Wi-Fi.
