Most people never know the difference and as stated above, it is almost impossible for most people, even plumbers to tell the difference between 1.5GPM and 2.5 GPM in today's showerheads without measuring the flow. Even the ones with their "private labeled" products! When these products have to go to high fire to meet a large demand you must be able to provide enough gas for the unit to function properly.
