3 Wheeler Buggies

A three-wheeled buggy is ideal for off-road terrain and offers the most comfortable ride for infants. They are also easier to push and maneuver than a four-wheel buggy and are especially suitable for those with slings made of fabric or modular seat units that are tightly positioned in the frame and deliver the most efficient shape and weight distribution.

Stability

A three-wheeled buggy offers excellent stability, which is why it's a good option for off-road walking (especially with an all-terrain or off-road style seat unit). These buggys often have oversized front tires that are able to handle bumps, kerbs and rough terrain. Some models have a lockable wheel on the front to provide extra stability when driving on uneven terrain.

PU tyres can be seen on more pushchairs than air-filled tyres but they are still just as robust. PU tire are easily identifiable by their matte finish and supple feel. They also slide across smooth and tidy surfaces.

You can usually identify the difference between air-filled and PU tire by running your fingers over each one. If it feels hard then it's a rubber tyre, and if it slides then it's a PU. Foam tyres are able to withstand the rough terrain that comes with high-performance buggies. The drawback is that the foam can shrink and make your buggy feel less stable, as it loses its springy nature.
